A recent planning application for 46 dwellings on the outskirts of Milborne Port has been approved at appeal (app no: 16/04237/OUT), the appeal decision contains relevant planning direction for the potential Court Lane site. Milborne Port is classified as a Rural Centre which South Somerset District Council takes a permissive approach to residential developments adjacent to the development areas.
