What do you like best about your job?
Building relationships with clients and helping staff develop their careers.

I am half Italian, hence the hair and height.
Guilty pleasures?
Shopping and eating chocolate!
My worst fashion mistake was…
A Rebock tracksuit and matching trainers!
The person I’d most like to go for a drink with is…
Sarah Jessica Parker.
On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me…
In bed with my cats Koki & Kiki.
Jess Beard
Head of Property Management
Jess has worked in the lettings industry since 2001, spending over 20 years as a Lettings Manager before moving into Property Management, where she has spent the last five years overseeing and running the management side of the business. Jess is passionate about building strong relationships with both landlords and tenants, and no two days are ever quite the same, which is a part of the job that she enjoys most.
Jess lives with her husband in Sandhurst in a house that they built. Well, he built it and she “helped”! But they survived the experience and have been together for 31 years. They both love to go on holiday, and out to good restaurants or a cosy country pub.
When I was younger, I wanted to be…
A nurse.
The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is…
Don’t sweat the small stuff.
If I were a superhero, my superpower would be…
The ability to eat whatever I want without gaining a pound. But on a serious note, I would solve world hunger.
On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me…
Having a good natter with my husband in a local coffee shop.
The best thing I like about my job is…
The fast-paced nature of the role, along with the long-term relationships you build with landlords and tenants. It makes the job both rewarding and consistently engaging, and there’s rarely a dull day even after more than two decades in the job.
You might be surprised to know that…
I have a degree in home economics and have worked with some famous chefs!
Mitch Moth
Lettings Manager
Mitch started his career aged 18, doing work experience at a family friends letting agency, and has been in the industry ever since. He has worked across Berkshire and Surrey, with much of his career spent working across Windsor and Ascot. Mitch lives in Bracknell with his wife, Marina and their two children. He is a big football and music fan, so can often be found following Fulham and England, or enjoying the occasional gig and festival.
The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is…
The more prepared I can be, the luckier I’ll get.
My worst fashion mistake was…
I’m probably still making them, but I do look back at my early 20s in my ‘indie’ skinny jeans and leather jacket era with a mix of regret and nostalgia!
Top of my bucket list is…
To watch England play in a World Cup in another continent.
On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me…
With the family. A morning tour of the play parks around Crown Wood and up into The Look Out has become a bit of a routine. You might even see me a have a cheeky go on the slide if no-one is looking – you’re never too old!
My guilty pleasures are…
Watching old obscure football matches and highlights. Do I need to be watching a five-minute video of David Beckham’s best moments for AC Milan when there are other things to do? Probably not. Am I going to do it anyway? Yes.
The thing I like best about my job…
The people. If I could spend all day sat down with people in their homes, understanding and listening to their needs (with a cup of tea, preferably) then I’d be a happy man.

HERE’S WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE TO SAY
FAQS ABOUT TENANTS
1. How do I apply to rent a property with Duncan Yeardley?
To apply for a rental property, you’ll need to complete an online application and provide proof of ID, income, and references. Once your application is approved, we’ll guide you through the next steps, including tenancy agreements and deposit payments.
2. What documents do I need to rent a home in Bracknell or Ascot?
Typically, you’ll need a valid photo ID, proof of income (such as payslips or bank statements), and references from your employer and previous landlord. If you’re new to the UK or self-employed, extra documentation may be required.
3. How is my deposit protected?
We register all tenant deposits with a government-approved Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS). This ensures your money is legally protected and returned fairly at the end of the tenancy, subject to property conditions and any agreed deductions.
4. What happens if there’s a maintenance issue during my tenancy?
If you experience a maintenance issue, you can report it online or by contacting our lettings team. For fully managed properties, we have a dedicated team who handle repairs quickly, including 24/7 support for emergencies.
5. Can I rent a property with pets?
Some landlords do accept pets, while others may have restrictions. We’ll always make it clear in the property listing if pets are considered. If you’re unsure, just ask our lettings team for advice on pet-friendly rentals.
6. What are the upfront costs when renting a property?
Before moving in, you’ll typically need to pay a holding deposit (capped at one week’s rent), your first month’s rent in advance, and a security deposit (usually up to five weeks’ rent). We’ll provide a full breakdown before you sign any agreements.
