Lettings Valuer
Liam attended school locally in Ascot and began his career in estate agency aged 18 in the Bracknell area. He has gone on to gain experience within the Maidenhead, Reading and Wokingham markets too. Building relationships is what Liam enjoys the most in his role, which gives him the opportunity to meet and help all kinds of people. Away from work, Liam enjoys playing football throughout the week and for a local Bracknell team on a Sunday (some say the next Sunday League Pirlo).
The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is…
The way to get started is to quit talking and start doing.
Top of my bucket list is…
To travel around America and Australia.
On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me…
On a football pitch in all weathers – potentially a little jaded from the night before.
My guilty pleasures are…
Watching Super Sunday and the F1 whilst devouring a takeaway. Highly recommended.
The thing I like best about my job…
Helping and advising landlords on how to make the process of letting their property as stress-free as possible, and assuring tenants throughout the process so that it becomes an enjoyable and exciting experience.
The person I’d most like to go for a drink with is…
Sir Alex Ferguson.

It is generally acknowledged that the most popular times for families to move home are Spring, early summer and Autumn. If you give this much thought it’s pretty obvious why. No-one much fancies viewing (or conducting viewings) over Christmas and most parents don’t want to be dragging their children around with them during the school holidays! Term time therefore becomes a prime time to sell your property.
But more than this, specific months can be great for selling your home. Here are 4 great reasons why October is a great month to get your home on the market;
1: Summer holidays are over, schools are back, kids are taken care of and there is still enough light in the evening to do weekday viewings after work!
2: Christmas is still two or three months away. Ask any agent or house builder and they’ll tell you that Christmas becomes a great deadline target for house buyers! They might not want to move in at Christmas – but an exchange of contracts before the Christmas break can give you an extra reason to celebrate and time to prepare for a move in the new year!
3: It may still be light(ish) in October, especially before the clocks go back, but cooler evenings can make for more liberal use of lights, central heating – and even that feature open fireplace. Autumn does wonders for making a home seem warm and welcoming!
4: Outside, the garden is still green or shades of autumn. Either way, gardens look great in the autumn – and the lawns in less need of a cut too – always a bonus when you are undertaking regular viewings!
There we are. What better month to list your home for sale. Contact us at Duncan Yeardley for a no-obligation valuation and make use of our local team of experienced negotiators in Bracknell this Autumn.
