Helen Thring
Marketing & Operations Manager
Helen is Nick’s sister and she successfully set up and established our Lettings Department back in 2013. Having spent much of her career prior to DY working in marketing, Helen now heads up our Marketing & Operations department. This suits her organisational skills, creativity and keen eye for detail perfectly! She loves taking long walks with her Labrador Finn and when time permits, travelling and visiting new places around the globe.
Top of my bucket list is…
To keep travelling, visit more new countries and ultimately, one day explore Europe in a (very comfortable!) camper van.
My guilty pleasure…
Ben & Jerry’s cookie dough ice cream. Probably best to just not buy it!
When I was younger, I wanted to be…
Less shy/more confident. Still working on it…
If I were a superhero, my superpower would be…
To help find a cure for cancer and dementia. Here’s hoping.
On Sunday morning, you can usually find me…
Up bright and early for a long dog walk in the countryside.
You might be surprised to know that…
One of my earliest qualifications as a teenager was as a Clarks trained shoe fitter. Ohh, all those back to school shoes!

Do you enjoy a refreshing pint of ale or craft beer, or perhaps some fruity cider? Then you won’t want to miss the Bracknell Ale & Cider Festival taking place at Bracknell Rugby Club over the Jubilee weekend on Saturday 4th June 2022.
Duncan Yeardley have been supporting the event for many years now. There’s a huge selection of ales and ciders, plus gin, wine and even Prosecco to enjoy! Not forgetting the brilliant live music and delicious food offerings. With dogs and children welcome too, it’s always a great day out for the whole family.
The event is run by BracknAle Events in conjunction with Bracknell Rugby Club as a fundraising event for the club. Now in to its eleventh year, the event goes from strength to strength with nearly 3,000 visitors enjoying themselves in recent years.
With food as diverse as Biltong and Hog Roast to burgers and mouth-watering street food, including wraps, mezze and loaded fries, you will not go hungry!
This year the craft beer bar is also being expanded. A Hoppy Place in Windsor are teaming up with Ascot Brewing Co to provide some great local beer and more incredible stuff from around the country.
So, what are you waiting for? Grab your tickets whilst they’re still available!
