Helen Thring
Marketing & Operations Manager
Helen is Nick’s sister and she successfully set up and established our Lettings Department back in 2013. Having spent much of her career prior to DY working in marketing, Helen now heads up our Marketing & Operations department. This suits her organisational skills, creativity and keen eye for detail perfectly! She loves taking long walks with her Labrador Finn and when time permits, travelling and visiting new places around the globe.
Top of my bucket list is…
To keep travelling, visiting more new countries and ultimately, one day explore Europe in a (very comfortable!) camper van.
My guilty pleasure…
Ben & Jerry’s cookie dough ice cream. Probably best just not to buy it!
When I was younger, I wanted to be…
Less shy/more confident. Still working on it…
If I were a superhero, my superpower would be…
To help find a cure for cancer and dementia. Here’s hoping.
On Sunday morning, you can usually find me…
Up bright and early for a long dog walk in the country.
You might be surprised to know that…
One of my earliest qualifications as a teenager was as a Clarks trained shoe fitter. Ohh, all those back to school shoes!

The 2022 Bracknell Forest annual photo competition has launched and this year’s theme is your favourite Bracknell Forest mood-boosting places!
The competition is free to enter. Images must be taken in the borough and be emailed to Bracknell Forest Council by Monday 31 October 2022.
The best photo entries will win a share of a £225 prize fund, provided by competition sponsors Duncan Yeardley, Economic and Skills Development Partnership and Bracknell Camera Club.
Cllr John Harrison, Executive Member for Culture, Delivery and Public Protection said:
“We’ve chosen the theme to celebrate our amazing local places and how they make Bracknell Forest a special place in which to live, work and play. I look forward to seeing what our residents choose as their favourite mood-boosting places.”
Nick Thring, Managing Director at Duncan Yeardley Estate Agents, said:
“We want to see good examples of local places that make residents and visitors feel great or help to lift their spirits when they’re feeling down. Greenspaces, for example, have been important in supporting residents’ health and wellbeing during the coronavirus pandemic.”
“Residents might also enjoy visiting sports and leisure centres, shops, or arts and culture venues. Please just ensure you are permitted to take photos at these places. We look forward to choosing the best entries.”
Information about the competition, including full terms and conditions, can be found on the 2022 photo competition page.
